« Jubileumscruise » (original title) (Production period: 1999– 2000)

A parody on the 'expedition film genre'. Based on my own real life experiences rowing 3000 km from Oslo

to the Norwegian-Russian border in the sub-Arctic, and later rowing from Oslo to Copenhagen.

Starring Wenche Foss, Knut Borge, Reidar Webster, Helge Reiss, Pål Gunnar Mikkelsplass, Torgeir Wergeland Sørbye. (Duration 28 min.) First airing: NRK1, June 2001.

A depiction of  the art installation “Sounds Around the Watchtowers” in Kirkenes Norway (near the Russian border) in 2009. The town square of the small border town Kirkenes was transformed into an iceskating ring guarded by stylized watchtowers from different national borders.
